OPTIONAL AUDITION WORKSHOP - February 22, 2014
Following is information pertaining to our Optional Audition Workshop
, a program designed to better prepare candidates for the audition process. Though attendance at the workshop is not required, it is highly recommended. It’s common for workshop participants to be successful in the audition process as they are well prepared.
You will meet members of the 2013 Patriots Cheerleading squad and will learn several dance combinations with choreography similar to the level that will be taught at spring tryouts. High kicks and the free-style round of auditions will be reviewed. The Patriots Cheerleaders’ personal trainer and creator of BMAX, Andy Berler, will be hosting a customized workout to jump start your fitness and nutrition programs in advance of auditions.
The final segment of the day will include a detailed discussion regarding the agenda for audition days, judging criteria, proper attire, hair and makeup suggestions, resume and photo requirements, and some tips on how to have an outstanding interview. You will also be informed on what to expect should you be selected for the 2014 cheerleading squad, including information on rehearsals, personal appearances, photo shoots, game days and travel opportunities. The discussion will end with a Q&A segment.
This workshop is open to participants only. Guests will not be permitted inside the event facility. At registration you will be required to sign a waiver prior to your participation.
